"I would like to sincerely thank you both for your outstanding customer service and care I received from you both during my dealings with KEA campers. The same level of service and care was also received while in Christchurch which I have emailed JD to acknowledge this fact.

This was our very first camper experience and would go down on record as being our best holiday we have had to date. Of course our KEA camper and everything that was supplied in it certainly made it for us – and yes the GPS and chairs you offered proved to be very handy so thank you very much for these! I would also like to mention that it was also immaculately turned out on pick up which was nice and certainly appreciated.  As the camper we received was near new and late model, it did make for a very comfortable and pleasurable drive.  With its numerous creature comfort features and outstanding interior fit out that was up to the minute and appeared to be of the highest quality; made for a ‘home away from home’. It was hard to believe that so much could be fitted into so little room was really unbelievable and everything worked very well - it certainly made for a truly memorable and great experience for both of us.

This might sound a bit funny or crazy I know but we really loved our Kea camper and were quite proud of it. Testament to this was when we were in Milford Sound we had a German couple come up to us to ask about our Kea camper and what we thought of it- of course we told them we loved it! They were extremely disappointed with there  rental camper and were interested in what we thought of ours and what our camper had to offer. Luana was quick and very enthusiastic to point out the various features of our KEA camper while taking them thru it so they could have a good look inside. Fair to say they were very impressed with our KEA camper while appearing quietly dejected with their particular camper choice.

We loved our kea experience so much we would love to do it again when the opportunity presents itself. We are also happy to share a few photos of our Kea experience with you too. This was our third hire with KEA - another 4 berth ST, 16 days touring the North Island in May. We're coming to expect to be spoiled by KEA and this was no exception; a discount for frequent hires, complementary city/airport pick-up and drop-offs, a very efficient and pleasant customer service rep on arrival/departure - thanks Gudrun! :-), newish motorhome with all the mod cons like Sat TV, iPod docking, DVD player. You can't order ahead for the weather and sadly we copped some rubbish this time, but still, it's a great way to see the country and particularly to enjoy lingering on the remote beaches on the East Cape and the lovely Coromandel. Sunrises, sunsets are wonderful, particularly for the avid photographer, and the milky way in the dark of night is fantastic, the stars are sooo clear and bright. A testament to KEA's popularity (at least during our trip) was the number of KEAs on the road and in commercial holiday parks. All happy hirers, I can assure you - (even those with 2 and 3 young children!).
We had hired with another company on our first visit to NZ many years ago, but now we think KEA has the best combination of cost vs experience and quality product.  Oh, we did burst a tyre but were able to be on our way in a couple of hours, thanks to the KEA help line and roadside assistance that they organized. "Dear KEA "mates" in Auckland, Thank you so much for your great service and excellent 2ST. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to NZ 4/4-16. The great NZ hospitality and warmth started with your driver at the airport, continued with Antje at your terminal, and all the Kiwis and fellow travelers we met on our journeys around the North Island. Our trip encompassed Auckland to the Coromandel Peninsula, and Bay of Plenty via the Pacific Highway, then on to Rotorua, Taupo, the Desert Highway, down to Wellington, then back up via Wanganui, Mt Taranaki, New Plymouth, the Waitomo Caves, and finally back to Auckland. The 2ST was immaculately prepared, performed flawlessly, and fit our needs very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the 2ST's maneuverability (even in some tight quarters), comfort in both driving and camping, and its power for hills and highways alike. We're anxious to return to NZ some time for a more extended vacation to tour the South Island, return to some favorites on the North Island, and see more of the North Island too. We will definitely use KEA again, and wholeheartedly recommend KEA to our friends."

"Once again the country provided us with an unforgettable myriad of scenery and experiences. What made the holiday so much more enjoyable this year was our KEA motorhome. The vehicle met our expectations, was clean, comfortable superbly equipped and economical to use. The service we received from KEA could not be faulted in any way from the time that we first enquired and booked in autumn last year, through the reception and pick up with Claudia Schulze in Christchurch on March 6th, to drop off in Auckland on April 17th. The one unfortunate problem we encountered with the toilet was dealt with after making a detour and overnight stop in Queenstown.[...]This year after research we selected KEA and have recommended them to many people at home and in NZ. At least two friends have travelled with KEA, one before we left UK who were also delighted. Family and friends living in NZ were also impressed."

"Just landed in Sydney and waiting for our connecting flight. A very pleasant surprise to receive your email and we thank you very much for the refund. It was demanded nor expected. Rest assured that Kea Auckland has made permanent friends out of us and we felt sad to leave earlier today. We are already planning our next trip over as we did not see nearly enough of this beautiful country. You will see us again in the near future. I intend to write a formal letter of thanks just as soon as we get home to Kea also. But, best of all, as we live in a lifestyle village where all residents are motorhome owners, we will pass on our excellent experiences in NZ and talk about the people that made it possible for us. "I loved our trip away in the 4 berth, and the family did too. I went away on caravan trips as a boy, but nothing compared to this. I must say the vehicle handled very well. I thought it might be a behemoth, but it was like driving a light van. Our daughter got to sleep in the 'treehouse' (upper berth) which she loved, and we all slept very well. The thing I liked the most was dining anywhere, parks and lakesides, and playgrounds etc. And as the sun went down, the family eating ice cream around the table while watching one of the kids’ ballerina DVD's was very cool. It was a great family bonding experience. I don't think we would have had quite the comfort, therefore quite the same happy feelings in a tent."
