New Home for KEA

KEA Campers, one of New Zealand’s leading tourism operators, has relocated to a large new premise in Albany and, for the first time, will house its manufacturing, rentals and sales divisions under the one roof. To celebrate the new home, KEA has great rental rates starting from $70.00 per day in a 2 Berth Shower + Toilet Campervan and those who quote CELEBRATE when booking a road trip in any of KEA’s fleet of vehicles will receive a complimentary bottle of bubbles and chocolates. For more information on KEA’s low campervan and motorhome rental prices or to CELEBRATE and book, visit www.keacampers.co.nz or phone 0800 520 052.

Located at 169 Bush Road, KEA Park spans eight acres and has a complete range of facilities for owners and renters of campervan and motorhomes, including a wash bay and mechanical workshops through to comfortable lounge areas with tea and coffee, library and wireless internet access.

The company’s new site has been completely renovated and refurbished to house KEA’s manufacturing department and service centre. With a large dedicated space for servicing vehicles, owners can bring their vehicles in for maintenance, pre-season checks, services and modifications, while buyers of KEA vehicles can physically watch the transformation of their new home on wheels.

“This is a big year for KEA as it turns 15 and we are excited to open up KEA Park to our customers and all campervan and motorhome travellers and owners,” said KEA Director, Grant Brady.

“With the new expanded premises, customers now have the ability to physically witness the building and manufacturing of our vehicles as well as having access to our team and their expertise. We invite everyone and anyone to arrange a time to come down for a tour of the factory or a coffee with our staff.”

With a much bigger sales yard, KEA Sales also plans to expand its retail offering to include multiple brands including Coachcraft (which was recently taken over by KEA). The site will also offer a retail shop selling a full range of accessories, making KEA Park a one-stop-shop for campervan and motorhome owners.

As with all KEA initiatives the environment is a top priority at KEA Park. The purpose-built wash bay with recycling unit focuses on harvesting rain water and recycling wash water, allowing drivers to clean their vehicles without impacting on the environment. Plans are also underway to open up a campsite for travellers to park overnight and prepare for their trip before KEA’s factory, servicing department, rentals or sales staff return in the morning.

The new KEA Park, with all its many facilities and conveniences, will provide the traveller with as many comforts as possible before, after and during their trip.

For more information on KEA or to book the CELEBRATE package, visit www.keacampers.co.nz or phone 0800 520 052. Offer valid for travel until September 30, 2010.
